High-Strength Friction Sheets from Mark Brakes

Mark Brakes is equipped to design and manufacture different asbestos and non-asbestos friction flat sheets for industrial use. We focus on manufacturing mainly woven friction sheet and rigid friction sheet, with and without wire reinforcement and metallic inclusions. The rigid friction sheet is non-metallic friction material with an asbestos base made of random fiber. It has a low rate of wear and tear, and medium coefficient of friction that enables it to possess high mechanical strength. We can also make rigid sheets with metallic inclusions in the form of brass chippings.

The woven friction flat sheet is a non-asbestos base product that comes with an infusible bond which gives the product needed durability and resistance to fade.

Our flat sheets are designed to perform well in high clutch temperatures and are suitable for both dry and under oil-immersed conditions, as well as in glue-lubricated operations. Flat sheet clutches has several applications, including general reengineering application, industrial clutches, tractor steering clutches, marine box clutches, and clutches for industrial machinery, tools, and plants.
